Archbishop John C. Nienstedt

The Most Reverend John Clayton Nienstedt, S.T.D. was installed as Bishop of the Diocese of New Ulm on August 6, 2001, at the Church of St. Mary, Sleepy Eye, MN.

Archbishop Nienstedt is the third Bishop of the Diocese of New Ulm.

On April 24, 2007 Bishop John C. Nienstedt was appointed coadjutor archbishop of St. Paul and Minneapolis, MN and apostolic administrator of the Diocese of New Ulm until a new bishop is appointed.
